When a player has excelled themselves in the service of the club, their jersey is retired meaning that no future player can use that number at the club. The following players have recieved this honour from the Haringey Greyhounds:

Dave Loudfoot number 5 Jersey #5 - Dave Loudfoot - Started up the greyhounds as a second team to the Haringey Racers when the rink opened in 1990 where the team played in ED2 for many years before the Racers folded. Dave Loudfoot’s Greyhounds then became the number one team at the palace playing in ED1. Dave became a firm favourite at the club for his hard skating and never-say-die attitude. After retiring from playing in 1998, Dave ran the team under the watchful eye of Coach Dave Rob where they lead the club to success by winning the 1999/2000 ED1 League Championship.

Lee Thornby number 8 Jersey #8 - Lee Thornby - Lee Thornby hit hard in the corners and never gave up, Lee also led the team in assist every year with his playmaking skills making him a valuable asset to the team and will be remembered for his 7 years service to the team.

Phil Myers number 19 Jersey #19 - Phil Myers - A true leader Phil captained the Hounds for 8 years and held many scoring records with the hounds. Phil was the Hounds leading scorer for many of his 10 consecutive years with the club finishing his career with the ED1 League Championship firmly under his belt. In his years with the Hounds Phil Myers will be remembered not only for the contributions on the ice but his leadership off the ice as well.
